The Race Village is situated at the stunning De Hoop Collection inside the De Hoop Nature Reserve. They have a wide range of accommodation from campsites, affordable rondawels and self-catering chalets to more luxurious cottages and upmarket lodges, complemented by the outstanding Fig Tree Restaurant. Do remember, your race entry includes 3-course dinners on Friday and Saturday evenings prepared on site by external caterers and a freshly cooked meal when you finish your race on Sat. Aside from delightful accommodation, De Hoop has so much to offer including guided nature, bird and marine walks, mountain biking trails and bike rentals, eco boat trips on the Ramsar vlei, and of course whale watching at the beach. All accommodation is block booked for the Race so if you try to book online it will say ”None available for those dates”. tented Race Village

In addition to De Hoop Collection’s options and in order to be able to accommodate all the athletes and their families on race weekend, we also establish a GLAMPING VILLAGE central to the race hub.

Each tent is erected, housing 2 beds fitted with cotton linen, duvet and pillow, a side table and 2 chairs.

High quality shower and toilet trailers are brought in and regularly cleaned and maintained.

We also provide a charging station and a central tent where hot water, teas and coffees can be obtained.

Cost per tent is R 3,200 for 2 people, 2 nights (20th and 21st August)

AND the village will be set up by Thursday, so if you can book yourself off work a day early, you can now have an extra night for FREE and enjoy a relaxed day! 😊

For the set price of R tbc you can have your 2 sleeper tent for Thurs, Fri AND Sat nights – which works out to just R tbc pp pn for 3 nights.
