Add info@mountainrunner.co.za and entries@mountainrunner.co.za to your safe list on your email provider and add them to your contact list to ensure that you receive newsletters and info that we will send out from these email addresses.

Payment – Total entry fee is 53km – R5,300 / 35km – R4,500. A deposit payment of R1,600 will be required within three days of entering in order to secure your booking. The remainder of the entry fee will be due by the 31 March 2024.

Refunds: 70% refund possible up until 27 April 2024 (3 months before event). Substitutions are possible up to 12h00 Friday 19 Jul 2024 (8 days before event) with a fee of R800. Substitutions will be offered to the wait list first.

Should the event scheduled for the 27 July 2024 be postponed due to National Restrictions, entries will be transferred to the rescheduled event or the 2025 Whale of Trail.

In consideration of the acceptance of my entry, I, for myself, executors, heirs, administrators and assigns, do hereby release and discharge Mountain Runner events, Cape Nature, De Hoop Collection, the sponsors, all medical personnel, any and all authorities from all claims for injury, damage and property loss I may suffer caused by negligence of any of them and arriving out of my participation in the event including pre and post event activities. I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in this event and assume all risks of participation. I accept all rules, conditions and regulations and agree that my name, photographs, video tape, broadcasts, telecasts, any advertising promotion may be utilized free of charge. I hereby confirm that I have read and understood the Rules & Regulations as stated on this website.
